We designed a concept of web design for the website of the municipality of Konstancin-Jeziorna. The idea is based on exposing the municipality's identity and the architecture of its well-known buildings - the municipal office and the Konstancin Hydrotherapy Centre.
It is a health resort near Warsaw. It houses summer residences and guesthouses designed by outstanding architects.
The spa is distinguished by high air quality, which is now becoming an important factor influencing the choice of place of residence, travel, and investment.
The problem of news is present on every city or local government website. Most often, in the design of local government websites, the amount of news overwhelms and fills most of the available screen for the user.
We proposed a timeline that organizes the information and the user finds his way more quickly to upcoming and archived events in the local government.
The sections important to the local government have been given their own style of design for the pages. Still asymmetrical, but still readable and attractive to the user.
The template was designed according to the logic of one screen equals one use case. As a result, the user receives a logical structure and structured information about the local government regardless of the device they are using - desktop, mobile.
The photos of the town received a distinctive style. It looks like an old photo album you find in your attic. In this way, we refer to the history and traditions of the commune on the website.
The website should support the municipality in developing its tourism, but most websites show places as if they were baseball cards. Meanwhile, the natural way of showing places is a map. Thanks to the map, the user has reference points that he is able to place in space, make a choice, choose a route.
Each town has its own story to tell on the website. The story can be told in writing or visual form.
Using the example of the content with the history of the town, we have prepared a text template of the website, maintaining the correct structure and the proposed styles - H1, H2, hyperlinks, body.
